The Margarita has so many different variations, it's hard to choose a favorite! This one uses a Chambord floater, which refers to an ingredient being layered on the top of a cocktail. Chambord is a black raspberry liqueur produced in the Loire Valley of France, it is sweet and delicious! We love using Chambord in this margarita because it adds a unique flavor without being too overpowering.

  • 1 1/2 oz Lime Juice (1 or 2 medium to large limes)

  • 1/2 oz Simple Syrup

  • 1/2 oz Chambord

  • Lime wedge (optional)

Directions:
  1. Fill glass half full with ice.

  2. Measure out simple syrup, lime juice, and tequila into a cocktail shaker.

  3. Shake a few times to combine.

  4. Pour contents of shaker into glass over ice.

  5. Top with a Chambord floater by slowly pouring it in a circular motion on top of the drink. This is just for serving, you'll want to stir it in before drinking.
