The Margarita has so many different variations, it's hard to choose a favorite! This one uses a Chambord floater, which refers to an ingredient being layered on the top of a cocktail. Chambord is a black raspberry liqueur produced in the Loire Valley of France, it is sweet and delicious! We love using Chambord in this margarita because it adds a unique flavor without being too overpowering.
Ingredients:
2 oz Silver Tequila
1 1/2 oz Lime Juice (1 or 2 medium to large limes)
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
1/2 oz Chambord
Lime wedge (optional)
Directions:
Fill glass half full with ice.
Measure out simple syrup, lime juice, and tequila into a cocktail shaker.
Shake a few times to combine.
Pour contents of shaker into glass over ice.
Top with a Chambord floater by slowly pouring it in a circular motion on top of the drink. This is just for serving, you'll want to stir it in before drinking.
Garnish with a lime wedge if desired.

Serve in:
Margarita glass or short tumbler
